Emily
Hi, my name is Emily. After becoming a mama in 2023 to my lovely little boy Oscar, then moving to a new town shortly after, I was worried about how I would make friends and find things to do during my maternity leave. Of course there was a few baby classes and church groups around however I felt like I missed out on having that NCT group some people I knew had.
There is an app that I’m sure lots of you are familiar with that I went on looking for people who had babies around a similar age to mine and I was lucky enough to be able to start chatting with some lovely ladies. Since then we have done multiple groups and meet ups together.
It got me thinking, surely I’m not the only one who felt like this during maternity leave and beyond?
Over this past year of navigating motherhood for the first time I have had sometime to think about what I think Fleet is missing for parents and families with children and I want to make it my mission to provide that.
I aim to share resources, knowledge, work with other professionals and organise events so no one feels alone in those early years. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth! We’re here to help and support you.

Hi, My names Adi and I’m a stay at home mum and carer to my five children aged Teens - Toddler.
We moved to Church Crookham in 2023 when I was expecting our last baby.
I relied heavily on search engines, my midwife and Health visitor to find local groups I could attend to meet new people and find a new Hive.
I too turned to the app we probably all know and spoke to many families out there in the same position in our area. All of us needing a support network and somewhere to turn to. It was here that I met Emily.
Over a coffee together we both discussed what we felt Fleet needed and decided to put that plan into action!
I hope that I can put my wealth of life experiences to good use and alongside Emily provide a service for the parents and children of Fleet and surrounding areas.
